Choreographer & Showmanship Coordinator

Renée Porzel is an internationally recognized teacher and coach, constantly in demand for her expertise in the area of showmanship.  She is highly respected for her ability to inspire and motivate others.

 

Renée joined the Melodeers Chorus in 1990. She has been an integral part of their music and visual teams helping the chorus win seven Sweet Adelines International championships – in 1995, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2009 2012, and 2015.

Renée is a member of the Sweet Adelines International Faculty Program and is a Certified Visual Communication Judge.  Renée was also a member of the Sweet Adelines International Board of Directors and served as International President from 2012-14. Renee coaches choruses and quartets around the world, and specializes in helping groups reach their potential visually and vocally, and reach their performance and competition goals.  

Renée resides in Buffalo Grove, IL, with her husband, Bob. They are the proud parents of Aaron and daughter-in-law Kim, and Ethan.  Bob and Renee are still celebrating the fact that they are the lucky grandparents to three very special granddaughters!
